We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email, firm name), contract documents you upload, and usage data. We also collect technical data automatically, including IP address, browser type, and device information to improve our Service.
Your data is used to provide and improve the Service, process payments through Paystack, send service-related communications, and ensure platform security. We do not use your contract documents to train AI models. Extracted data is never shared between organizations.
Contract documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. Data is stored on AWS infrastructure with options for Nigerian data residency. We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance and conduct regular security audits to protect your information.
Uploaded documents are retained for the duration of your subscription and for 30 days after cancellation to allow data export. After this period, documents and extracted data are permanently deleted from our systems. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You may also request data portability and restrict processing. Contact us at privacy@lega.ai to exercise these rights.
