By accessing or using the Lega platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Lega provides an AI-powered contract review platform that extracts key data points from commercial leases, flags risk clauses, and generates structured reports. The Service is designed for use by licensed legal professionals and law firms in Nigeria. Lega is a tool to assist legal professionals — it does not constitute legal advice.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Lega immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. Lega reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Paid plans are billed through Paystack, our authorized payment processor. All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦). Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for the remaining billing period.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Contract documents uploaded to Lega are processed securely and are not used to train AI models. You retain full ownership of all documents and extracted data. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.
Lega provides AI-assisted analysis, not legal advice. The Service may produce inaccurate results, and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all output. Lega shall not be liable for any decisions made based on the Service's output. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Lega's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
